Weight limit for jeep wrangler spare tire mount?
I have an ’04 Wrangler with 31 inch spare tire. I want to use a spare tire bike rack to hold 2 bikes but I don’t want to overload the tire mount. Does anyone know the weight limit for the mount? Also any recommendations for brand of bike rack?
It shouldn’t be a problem to carry a bike rack and 2 bikes. I have seen jeeps with bikes on the back. If it is a problem I’m in the same boat as you I’m about to get my rack to carry my bikes on.
